As of yesterday we have viewed a total of 4 homes. One was a COMPLETE nightmare...one was okay...one I had high hopes for but was disappointed (who designed that thing?)...and the last one was just, um, well, let's say it has remained the same for the last 40 years. Blech! At least we aren't like this one couple that the realtor has shown 5o homes to....yet.
So bright and early this morning the realtor sent me yet another listing. I think she is really trying to hook us on this one. Again...not GREAT but has possibilities. I have no high hopes for it but will check it out. It is an older home that sits on 2 acres but has been completely renovated and modernized...even has additions made to it. Within city limits yet it looks like a country setting...which means, it has elbow room and privacy but the convenience of city water lines! It HAS a well on the property, too. ANYHOW...another house to look at on Friday. Troy is getting ready to leave again for a couple of days. House viewings now have to be set for Mondays and Fridays and arranged around golf games. sheesh.
I have my final powerpoint presentation to do for my class Wednesday night. It is coming along nicely. What am I doing it on? Backyard wildlife habitats. Should I do it on anything else?
Speaking of which:
Scrawny ON her feeder
Scrawny IN her feeder.
And on a sad note...TJ's hamster Jacques is quickly going down hill. Not sure how much longer he is going to make it. He said once Jacques dies he will not be getting another hamster. He has one more year of HS then be starting college. Perhaps doing some part time semesters the first year, working part time will be best. He wants to go to Full Sail in Florida yet he is rather hesitant. Perhaps his first year close to home, easing into it will be good. His friend Steve is going to a school in Columbus and wants TJ to go too. If there is a school nearby that has classes that TJ can do, it might not be such a bad idea. Columbus is only about an hour away. I know we need to make our minds up soon. He's almost done with his 11th grade year! YIKES!
