I am doing...or trying to do...our taxes...online. I have done our taxes online for years. Turbo Tax. SO way much easier and faster. They take my info, fill in the forms that need to be filled in and submit them for a small fee. I print out the forms when they are done and file them away. I would go paperless and just save them all on a CD...just keep adding the next year's BUT...I still have to have the official W-2's and 1099's and 1098's, etc. on file anyway.
It is back to cold but the winds have died down and the snow is swirling. I highly doubt we will get much, if any, accumulation.
Troy is without a computer. He got up early this morning and went to the nearest UPS mailing station and had it sent out to his company's tech department to have it overhauled. They were SUPPOSED to send him out a loaner. He is partitioning for a newer model. Yeah...good luck.
No school today for either kid. Not that they are doing anything with their day off. I didn't either when I was their age.
Now...back to these tax forms...there has to be a better way of squeezing money back out of the govt. What would MacGyver do?

Sounds like you have had a rough last few weeks with the weather and sickness and hubby traveling. Now taxes to boot! In my usual habit of procrastination, I will probably wait until March to get my tax stuff together. It takes me hours to get it all organized. I have a lady who does my taxes. I might try Turbotax someday, though. We do long forms and Randy has some complicated IRA investments which involve foreign tax, etc. I would prefer not to worry about it.
You probably heard Arkansas had tornadoes recently and about 10 people died. It was really scary. We were very blessed not to have more than rain and thunderstorms here. I feel for those that lost everything! I hope you all remain safe and untouched by the weather. And I hope your kids are feeling much better by now. We are holding our own here.
Take care - Spring is coming! Our daffodils are up and blooming already!

Hey, Marcia! Tell Randy hi for me!
I remember that tornado business. Our first March there was when there was...what? something like 17 tornadoes that touched down all in one day? I saved the front page of the newspaper. Too many scary days/nights of tornado watching for my liking! When the weather turns a certain way I STILL have the habit of scanning the skies for tell tale signs. YIKES!
Just make sure your 'fraidy hole' is always ready. LOL I remember our neighbor on the other side of us calling it that. I told him I would LOVE to have a 'fraidy hole' to jump into.
Tell the boys I said hello, too.
I guess you guys no longer have a regular tornado season. It is all year round!
